Flock founder and CEO Raj Singh said: “We look forward to innovating with The Hartford to ensure brokers and employers have access to a new generation of human resources and benefits administration tools.

“With the seamless connectivity between The Hartford and Flock, brokers and employers alike are one step closer to removing administrative inefficiencies.”

The Flock platform will support The Hartford’s products, including:

Life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance

Short- and long-term disability insurance; and

Voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity

In addition to The Hartford’s benefits, employees will also have access to other insurance providers on the Flock platform for medical, dental, vision and financial benefits, including health spending accounts.

The collaboration between The Hartford and Flock also will equip brokers with compliance tools that can be used by their clients. The Flock Benefits Administration suite includes a portal that allows brokers to assist employers with vital compliance requirements such as Affordable Care Act (ACA) filings. Through this partnership, employers who select the benefits administration tools will have access to Flock’s ACA filing features at no additional charge.

The Hartford Group Benefits voluntary and external partnerships head CrisDee Plambeck said: “We continue to invest in technology to help provide the seamless enrollment and service experience that our customers expect.

“We are pleased to partner with Flock to enhance our ability to deliver The Hartford’s industry-leading suite of products, including voluntary benefits, to brokers and employers nationwide on an easy-to-use modern technology platform.”

Last year, The Hartford participated in Series A financing to help Flock accelerate market expansion and ongoing development of its HR and benefits administration platform.
