Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Thomas Sepp as the new chief claims officer, effective 1 September 2010, who succeeds Christian Orator, now chief administrative officer.
Sepp will report to the company’s General Insurance CEO Mario Greco and will be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
In his new role, Sepp will be responsible for leading the company’s global network of claims professionals and enhancing its claims capabilities and customer service.
Sepp joined Zurich in October 2009 as COO of Europe General Insurance. Prior to this, he worked for McKinsey & Co as head of their UK Insurance Practice.
