Has appointed Stephen Lewis as the firm’s new CEO for UK General Insurance, effective 5 October
Zurich Financial Services has appointed Stephen Lewis as the firm’s new CEO for UK General Insurance, effective 5 October – reported in Insurance Daily.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Lewis will report to the CEO of Western Europe, Markus Hongler.
Stephen Lewis has served the firm for 20 years and has since occupied a number of finance and operational roles within the UK. Seven years ago, he became finance director for Asia Pacific and has since become head of Group Operations, Planning and Performance Management for Zurich Group.
The UK General Insurance CEO, Guy Munnoch will be CEO of the Southern African region, effective 5 October. Mr. Munnoch will report to the CEO EGI, Annette Court, who has expressed her delight at his appointment.
