Zurich Financial Services has named Paul Horgan as the new chief underwriting officer for the company's global corporate in North America unit. He will report to Mario Vitale, CEO of Zurich global corporate in North America.
Prior to joining Zurich, Mr Horgan was chief underwriting officer for Liberty Mutual’s specialty operations unit. Mr Horgan is a graduate of the University of Maine, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in economics and management. He earned a Master’s of business administration in finance from St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Mr Vitale said: Paul has built a powerful resume incorporating all lines and national account experience during 22 years in underwriting, finance, marketing and account management. We are very pleased that he has agreed to join us, and we are looking forward to the value he will bring to our team.
