Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Yvonne Ketterer as the new CEO of Zurich Life Switzerland.
Ms Ketterer has been working for Zurich since 1991. In her new position, Ms Ketterer will lead the life insurance business within Switzerland, and continue as a member of the executive management board of Zurich Switzerland. Furthermore, she will become a member of the global life executive committee of Zurich.
Since coming to Zurich, she has held various managerial positions within internal consulting, sales and marketing, and acquired a broad knowledge in the life insurance business. Ms Ketterer graduated from the University of Zurich, with a Master of Arts in economics.
Mario Greco, CEO of global life at Zurich Financial Services, said: Yvonne knows our group and the life insurance business very well. She has been instrumental in developing life insurance sales and expanding our direct business within Switzerland. This inside appointment also affirms the strength of our internal global talent pool.
