XL North America Primary Casualty appoints new president

XL Group’s North America Casualty unit has appointed Ken Riegler as president of its North America Casualty group.

Based in New York, Riegler will report Seraina Maag, XL’s chief executive for North America Property & Casualty.

Maag said Riegler with 20 years of risk management experience with National, US-based Multinational and Foreign accounts is expected to boost XL’s expertise and primary casualty underwriting resources to a broader client base.

Ken had previously worked for ACE USA, serving as President of Foreign Casualty group and the North American Multi National Client Group.

Ken had also managed ACE Risk Management’s business throughout the Western half of the US and also worked for Reliance National and New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company before his ACE’s joining.
