Willis Group's space team, Willis Inspace, has been appointed to offer exclusive risk management consultancy and insurance brokerage services for Es'hailSat's second satellite, Es'hail 2.
After a thorough review and competitive tender in which amny other leading space insurance brokers participated, Willis was selected by the Qatar Satellite Company.
Es’hailSat CEO Ali Al Kuwari said, "Es’hail 2 is an important step in the development of our satellite fleet and we are delighted to have appointed Willis to represent Es’hailSat."
Willis Inspace deputy managing director Xavier Lacombe that the company is pleased for the selection to represent Es’hailSat, the national satellite operator of Qatar.
"This appointment reinforces further the presence of Willis Inspace in the Middle-East, a region which is very active in the satellite field."
