To provide homeowners with protection against the risks associated with costs to repair gas and electric lines within the home
Virginia Surety Company, the insurance unit of Warranty Group, has entered into an agreement with Nicor Services, to provide underwriting and compliance services for its Home Solutions program, a customizable suite of home warranty plans for utilities and their customers. It has been reported that Home Solutions Program is currently being offered across 17 states, but soon it will be expanded to 19 other states across the country.
Home Solutions plans are ecpected to provide homeowners with protection against the risks associated with costs to repair gas and electric lines within the home, as well as the repair of major systems including air conditioning, furnaces, water heaters, and home appliances.
