US RE ApS, a European subsidiary of US RE Corp, has appointed Ruslana Strunden as new vice president and also promoted Henrik Skafte as the vice president.
Ms Strunden has held actuarial posts at Gothaer Re, Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, and Zurich Re in Germany. Prior to this, she was a staff member in the community of the independent states and the United Nations Development program. She also served as a member of the actuarial steering committee of the European Alliance of insurance and financial services.
Mr Skafte has joined US RE ApS in 2005 as assistant vice president. He has worked as a reinsurance broker in the Scandinavian market and developed a specialty in life reinsurance. He was administrator in charge of financial management in the Uganda office of the Danish Association for International Cooperation.
