Dual Corporate Risks, a UK-based underwriting agency, has appointed Christopher Blake as new professional indemnity underwriter in the firm's national business unit.
In this role, he will report to the head of DUAL Corporate Risks’ National Business Unit, located in Manchester.
The underwriting agency said Blake’s appointment is in line with its expansion into IT for which it has produced a dedicated professional indemnity, public liability and products liability form.
Previous to Dual, Blake with Chartis for four years in the financial lines team.
DUAL Corporate Risks underwriting director Jennifer Martin said Chris appointment strengthens the firms offering in the IT space.
"We are excited to have the depth of talent to take forward ambitious growth plans for the National Business Unit, which is our hub for regional business outside the London Market," Martin said.
Dual is part of the Hyperion Insurance Group, which has businesses across Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America.
