Transamerica Retirement Services has named Tim Allen as the new regional vice president for its Western region, and will be based in San Mateo, California.
In his new role, Allen will be responsible for all sales activities and distribution in the coastal region north of San Francisco, the Bay Area Peninsula and the Salinas Valley and will report to the company’s divisional vice president for the Western region Michael Wannell.
For the past three years, Allen has served as a market development specialist for the company in Colorado.
Prior to this, Allen served as a vice president of advisory services for Mutual Asset Management.
Transamerica Retirement Services national sales director Jason Crane said that Tim Allen’s accomplishments and commitment in managing multiple territories, and dedication to training and education of financial advisors made him perfect choice to continue the company’s success in Bay Area.
