Towergate Insurance in Scotland has appointed Gordon Crosbie as managing director for its Perth and Stirling businesses.
In addition, Crosbie will also take on the new role of broking director for the Scotland area team.
In his role as broking director, Crosbie will be responsible for relationships with insurers and carriers and will oversee key distribution partnerships across Scotland.
According to the insurer, the appointment of Crosbie reflects growth of its business in Scotland and continuing development of its strategy.
Crosbie has more than 30 years of industry experience having held a number of senior positions in Scotland. Including roles as regional managing director in Scotland for Giles where he was responsible for 12 offices.
