Towergate, a UK-based independently owned insurance intermediary, has appointed Mark Hodges as group CEO. He is currently executive director and UK CEO of Aviva.
Hodges will replace Andy Homer who remains on the Towergate Board as a non-executive director.
Towergate executive chairman Peter Cullum said Homer brings a wealth of experience and is ideally positioned to lead Towergate’s next generation.
"Both Andy Homer and I very much look forward to supporting Mark as we enter another exciting phase of our development," Cullum said.
However, the appointment of Hodges is subject to FSA approval.
