Top Image Systems (TIS) has been selected by Generali Group Austria to index and classify 60 million documents received annually. Following an in-depth evaluation, TIS' eFLOW has been chosen to replace an existing solution.

According to TIS, Generali will use eFLOW to capture and extract data from incoming documents received by mail, fax and electronic means, and also process internal documents. The resulting data and images will be exported into a workflow application and distributed to relevant location based on pre defined criteria. As a result, Generali will attain an enhanced efficiency and low operational costs, while controlling information flow and accelerating business processes.

The company said that Generali has chosen TIS for its service orientation and experience with large companies. eFLOW solution’s efficient functionality and flexibility, ease of customization and scalability, supports Generali Group’s procedures and requirements.

Dimiter Kurtev, group leader document management at Generali Group Austria, said: “Generali Group Austria’s selection of Top Image Systems perfectly supports our strategy to continuously improve processing speed and better serve our customers and partners. We see eFLOW application as a crucial tool to increase efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes in the next few years.”

Michael Schrader, managing director of EMEA at TIS, said: “Our experience with paper-intensive firms, such as insurance companies, allows our customers to better deliver operational efficiency and ROI at every level of their organization, while improving customer service and maintaining competitive advantage.”
