The Hanover Insurance Group, a provider of property and casualty insurance products, has introduced Sports & Fitness Advantage program, a new set of capabilities for amateur sports, fitness-related businesses and organizations.
The insurer said that the new program is businesses that include: fitness and recreation sports centers; sports and recreation instruction; and amateur sports.
According to the Hanover, the Sports & Fitness Advantage program specifically provides customized coverage for, commercial property, general liability, auto, umbrella, employment practices liability, emergency event management, professional liability and green buildings.
The program also offers amateur sports and fitness center general liability broadening endorsements and business income coverage for members’ unused portion of prepaid dues in the event that the operation is suspended.
The program also covers professional liability for trainers, officials and other health club professionals as well as sexual and physical abuse with innocent party defense options.
