US-based Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) is set to deploy Guidewire Software’s products for claims and data management.

TWIA has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management system, while DataHub to support the implementation.

It also has selected Guidewire Claim Portal for Policyholders and Claim Portal for Agents, in a bid to provide better digital experience for users. In addition, TWIA deployed Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.

Guidewire Software Americas sales group vice president Steve Sherry said: "We also congratulate TWIA on their recent deployment of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, and look forward to seeing them achieve similar success with their ClaimCenter and Claim Portal deployments."

Guidewire ClaimCenter is an end-to-end claims management system that includes flexible business rules, which allow claims organizations to define, enforce and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices to enhance and monitor their claim processes.

Said to be incorporated in an insurer’s legacy systems or third party applications, ClaimCenter is available as a standalone system or as part of Guidewire InsuranceSuite.

Guidewire Digital Portals is a portfolio of portals that enables insurers to expose Guidewire InsuranceSuite functionality to external stakeholders such as policyholders, agents/brokers and vendors through the web and mobile devices.

Established by the Texas Legislature in 1971, TWIA offers windstorm and hail insurance in the Texas seacoast.
