Validus Holdings wholly owned subsidiary, Talbot Underwriting has named Joe Wee as regional construction underwriter at Singapore-based Talbot Risk Services to support its growth in Asia.
Wee will join Talbot’s team of five underwriters in Asia to bring specialist construction expertise gained after working with Allianz in a comparable regional role.
An Active Underwriter at Talbot James Skinner said Joe’s experience will extend their construction capabilities which remains at the forefront of their plans for development in Asia.
Talbot’s Singapore principal officer John Ewington said the addition of Joe to his team will help them to respond even more effectively to the demands of their costomers and brokers on the major projects being constructed in Asia.
Established in November 2001, Talbot Holdings operates primarily within the Lloyd’s insurance market through Syndicate 1183 where it was acquired by Bermuda-based Validus Holdings in July 2007.
