Claims technology provider Symbility Solutions has entered into a strategic partnership with Johannesburg based Digicall Solutions, to expand its mobile claims platform in South Africa.
Operating since 2003, Digicall consists of seven specialist units that provide a range of services to the short term insurance sector.
Digicall Assessing Solutions managing director Johan Erasmus commented, "The combination of our assets and best-of-breed practices across the claims value chain will provide a compelling solution and unique claims experience for our customers."
Under the partnership, the application will be used through Digicall’s Assessing Solutions division, to process claims and manage the contractor network for tier one insurers including, Absa Insurance and Zurich Insurance South Africa.
Symbility Solutions president and chief operating officer Richard Adair said bringing the platform to a new continent fits the company’s goal to bring a better claims experience to property insurers around the world.
