Sunzs Insurance, a Florida-based provider of workers' compensation insurance solutions and services, has appointed David Geiger as loss control manager.
In this role, Geiger will be responsible for developing safety programs, monitoring costs and losses, ensuring compliance with existing clients, while also effectively training companies to meet state and national law requirements.
Geiger worked alongside Paul Hodges, the newly appointed SUNZ underwriting manager, as the corporate risk and fleet manager for Able Corporate Services.
During his time at Able, Geiger provided oversight for all workers’ compensation programs, conducting on-site training of company personnel and analyzing client risk by performing on-site safety inspections.
Sunz Insurance Company vice president and COO Glen Distefano said David’s experience in the industry will be greatly beneficial to the loss control department. His extensive training and veteran-status will serve PEOs as Sunz strive to increase safety and compliance with clients.
