Stonebridge International Insurance has selected SSP, a provider of insurance technology, to modernize its existing I90 system with SSP Select Insurance as part of a large-scale legacy transformation project.
SSP said upon completion, the project will support its key business objectives across seven European countries, to launch a wider range of insurance products and respond to market demands quickly.
Stonebridge, an Aegon company, provides a range of direct marketing and strategy development services for the insurance sector.
SSP CEO Laurence Walker said Legacy modernization has become a business-critical process as today’s companies are faced with intense competition and increased customer demands.
"Improved speed-to-market, greater product innovation and enhanced customer service all require true flexibility, which is why the modernization of these core systems is so crucial," Walker said.
