Sterling Life Insurance, a provider of healthcare solutions to Medicare beneficiaries in the US, has appointed David Goltz as new chief financial officer.

Mr Goltz has over 20 years experience in financial and management positions in insurance and healthcare. He has worked in both large and small organizations particularly in pivots, high-growth situations and new startups.

For the last five years, Mr Goltz has served as CFO of Fidelis Senior Care, a start-up MA Special Needs Plan with HMOs in three states. He played a key role in raising the necessary capital to fund the growth and development of the company, and also negotiated and implemented a national provider network that allowed the company to expand to new service areas.

Michael Muchnicki, CEO of Sterling Life Insurance, said: “I’m looking forward to working with Dave at Sterling. His broad Medicare managed care background and success in growing both new and established companies will be a tremendous asset as we grow Sterling’s network health plans and further develop our managed care capabilities.”
