Starr Aviation, a subsidiary of Starr Indemnity & Liability Company, has introduced its own Starr Aviation iPhone App, which will be available to the general public free of cost.
The application, which can be directly accessed from the user’s mobile phones, will provide relevant and easily accessible information to aviation insurance brokers, Starr policyholders and potential insureds.
Functions in the application include the ability to locate and contact the various Starr offices, find a local aviation insurance agent and consult an accident checklist.
Starr Aviation division executive Steve Blakey said the Starr Aviation App will enable the company’s business partners and customers to manage their aviation insurance programmes wherever their business takes them.
In addition, Starr Aviation allows both insureds and an insured’s broker to access their aviation policies directly from their mobile devices, a feature unique only to this mobile app currently available within the aviation market.
Insureds will also have the option of reporting and filing a claim within the application.
