Standard Life and Accident Insurance Company (SLAICO) has introduced a final expense product, the new AdvantageGuard Final Expense Whole Life product offers graded death benefits.
Developed and released in late 2010, the upgraded AdvantageGuard benefits agents’ sales as well as their clients.
AdvantageGuard’s graded death benefits provide an alternative for applicants who do not qualify for immediate coverage but whose health issues do not make them completely uninsurable.
As a greater number of applicants can now qualify for the benefits of final expense insurance, agents also benefit with increased commissions.
The application is divided into two clearly defined pass-or-fail sections that allow the agent to determine at once if the applicant meets the criteria.
This removes a long application process and reduces disappointment for both applicant and agent if the applicant does not qualify.
In addition AdvantageGuard can be offered over the phone, and an online application will become available soon, eliminating the need for face-to-face meetings.
