Scottsdale Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide, has appointed Kyle English as associate vice president of Brokerage Underwriting.
In his new role, English will lead many functions within the Brokerage Underwriting Division and will report to John Goodloe, senior vice president of Brokerage Underwriting.
In addition to his current role, English will also be responsible for risk analysis, new product research, broker management, reinsurance coordination and underwriting training.
Kyle joined Scottsdale Insurance family in 1987, where he held several leadership roles and moved from his director role in Excess to lead all support functions in Brokerage Underwriting.
Scottsdale Insurance president Mike Miller said with Kyle’s extensive brokerage experience, the firm is positioned to make a sustained and powerful impact with brokers.
