Scott & White Health Plan has announced that its SeniorCare plans are now available in 22 more central and west Texas counties, an expansion that arrives in time to give area seniors more choices for enrolling in or changing plans for supplemental Medicare coverage and drug plans during the 2008 enrollment period that ends on December 31, 2007.

Scott & White Health Plan (SWHP) SeniorCare provides extra coverage that seniors need to ensure that they’re fully protected and to enhance their Medicare benefits. Anyone with Medicare living in the expanded SWHP SeniorCare area can apply for SeniorCare coverage and its Medicare part D prescription drug plans.

SeniorCare and SeniorCare Rx offer medical plans and three prescription drug plans at affordable rates, giving seniors the flexibility to select the coverage that’s right for them. All of the SWHP SeniorCare plans provide: coverage for Medicare part A and B deductibles; routine physical exams; no waiting period on pre-existing conditions; gap coverage and no claim forms.
