SCOR Global Life Americas (SGLA), a reinsurance solutions provider, has appointed Scott Boug as senior vice president for Financial Solutions and deputy head of SCOR Global Life Financial Solutions.
Scott will lead the structuring financial and capital relief reinsurance team.
With 25 years of insurance and reinsurance experience, Scott comes from Genworth Financial, where he headed the company’s reinsurance and runoff strategies for Life insurance-related businesses.
Earlier, he worked at Munich American Reassurance (MARC) as senior vice president of Financial Solutions and was responsible for developing capital market solutions for MARC’s client companies.
From 2006 – 2008, he worked as chief pricing officer and managing director of Capital and Liquidity Management at Transamerica Reinsurance.
SCOR Global Life Americas president Paul Rutledge said that Scott brings a deep and broad set of skills and experience in structured risk and financing transactions that encompass both the insurer and reinsurer perspectives.
