Sberbank insurance, a subsidiary of Russia-based Sberbank, has implemented BSB’s Solife package to manage individual and group life insurance business.

BSB and its Russian IT partner I-Teco will jointly implement Solife, which will allow Sberbank insurance to automate its business processes and optimise the management of its insurance product portfolio.

In addition, Solife will also allow real-time process simulations to improve business performance for Sberbank insurance.

Sberbank insurance CEO Maxim Chernin said, "Our priority is to implement IT systems that will improve the efficiency of our operational processes while helping to position us as a market leader."

BSB CEO Jean Martin added, "With this major project in Russia, BSB continues its international expansion, and confirms its ability to support world-class organisations with the most advanced insurance policy administration system."

Sberbank insurance will migrate its products onto the new platform that will be used by its 1,000 offices as part of the first phase.

After the completion of migration, Sberbank’s clients will have access to enhanced system functionality, as well as, the ability to manage portfolios remotely in real time via Sberbank Online.
