Chinese tour major, Ritz Tours is providing free ‘Travel Protection Insurance’ to check last-minute bookings hassles and help customers get increased savings. The service is applicable to every international escorted tour to Asia and Europe that is paid in full for departures for the period, June 22 – December 31, 2009.

Earlier, the Europe and China tour company offered Travel Protection Insurance at no additional cost to confirmed travellers, who made their final payment at least 60 days prior to the departure. This new initiative extends coverage to clients who book within 60 days prior to departure, provided the reservations are paid in full, the company said.

The company started this service in cooperation with the Travel Guard P3 Travel Insurance, and features protection with trip interruption, travel delay, baggage delay, loss of baggage and/or documents, medical expenses, emergency medical transportation, dismemberment and accidental death.
