Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), a global provider of life reinsurance, has appointed Donna Kinnaird as its new chief operating officer with effect from 02 April 2012.
Kinnaird holds more than 20 years of strategic leadership experience with major global organisations in the life insurance industry.
RGA president and chief executive officer Greig Woodring said Donnas’ operational management capabilities and expertise will be invaluable to the company’s continued worldwide growth and industry leadership in life and health reinsurance.
Kinnaird served as president of Swiss Re Life and Health America and president and chief executive officer of its Reassure America Life Insurance Company, prior to joining RGA.
She has also spent 10 years in executive positions with Swiss Re America and held roles of chief financial officer and chief operating officer in various life insurance companies early in her career.
