Restaurant Solutions Insurance Group (RSIIG) has acquired Colorado Restaurant Insurance Agency (CRIA), a member of the Professional Independent Insurance Agencies of Colorado and National Independent Insurance Agents Association.
The acquisition has facilitated the formation of new insurance firm known as National Restaurant Insurance (NRI) by Restaurant Solutions (RSI) and Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA).
NRI has been formed to provide better services for independent restaurant owners.
RSI president and CEO Blair Pennington said: "The name we decided upon, National Restaurant Insurance, was thoughtfully chosen as we felt it accurately represents the national coverage of our services as well as the industry we continue to proudly serve.
"This acquisition enables us to become the largest provider of restaurant insurance for independent restaurants in Colorado."
CRIA is a full-service property and casualty insurance agency, which provides insurance products for the foodservice and hospitality industry.
RSI is an accounting firm that provides financial and operational management services and systems for restaurant industry, while CRA is the trade organization for the state’s foodservice industry.
