India-based Reliance General Insurance has added a new feature, Anywhere Assist , to its private car insurance policy.
According to the company, the new feature is a round the clock roadside assistance service for all its private car insurance policy customers.
The new feature will allow all Reliance motor insurance customers to avail roadside assistance within a large radius of 25km from their car breakdown location.
The new benefit can be used for the problems, including towing assistance, battery jumpstart, minor repairs, tyre punctures, emergency fuel assistance, delivering back-up key, organising a taxi, organising hotel accommodation, and sending outgoing messages.
Reliance said that the new service comes as a complimentary add-on with its car insurance policy, and its customers will not be charged for this on-road service.
Reliance General Insurance, part of Reliance Capital, offers motor insurance, health insurance, travel insurance and home insurance.
