Rankin Claim Services (RCS), a North Carolina-based independent adjusting firm, has launched its specialty mechanical investigation unit dedicated to uncovering subrogation potential on losses involving plumbing components.
Rankin Claim Services provides adjusting services for insurance carriers and claim administrators throughout North Carolina.
The company said, the RCS staff has completed extensive training in the identification of defective plumbing components and improper installation.
RCS president and founder Jason Rankin said as the cost of engineers rise, and the cause of the failure in plumbing components is uncertain, it makes sense for us to better qualify losses that have the potential for subrogation.
