Quindell Portfolio has expanded its partnership with the law firm Silverbeck Rymer to offer a joint outsourcing personal injury product to the UK claims market.

Quindell has also signed a binding agreement to acquire Silverbeck Rymer for GBP12m.

The transaction is subject to approval from the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Financial Services Authority.

As part of the deal, Silverbeck Rymer chairman Jim Rymer will join Quindell’s strategy and integration advisory board.

Rymer said that having continued to work closely with Quindell since the company’s first announcement in January it continues to see significant benefits in being part of the enlarged group.

"Quindell is a major player in the insurance space and we firmly believe in its non-conflict approach to working with insurers," Rymer said.
