QBE has integrated Risk Management Services (RMS) teams, headed by Richard Thomas in an effort to leverage its relationship with clients and brokers.

The RMS Practice will involve property, casualty, motor fleet and professional lines and will be led by Sean Bell, Martin Devaney, Doug Jenkins and Deborah O’Riordan respectively, as reported by Insurance Age.

Insuranceage cited QBE’s Risk Management Services Practice head Richard Thomas as saying that the RMS practice will provide "broad range" of industry experience and insurance knowledge.

"In creating QBE’s RMS practice, we have strengthened the team and technical resources to ensure that first class services that match the needs of clients, brokers and underwriters alike can be delivered in a timely and efficient way," Thomas added.

"We have spent 15 months reviewing and enhancing our technical resources and the technology and tools to help support the continued profitable growth for QBE."

Chief underwriting officer, property, casualty and motor And Ash Bathia said: "Risk management is a key differentiator for our insurance proposition and the capabilities that our new RMS practice will bring to our property, casualty and motor portfolio will help us continue to provide first class services to all our clients."
