PZU Insurance Group (PZU) has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire BillingCenter for underwriting, policy administration and billing operations.

In addition to Guidewire Rating Management, PZU selected Guidewire Reinsurance Management and Guidewire Client Data Management as add-on modules.

The PolicyCenter and BillingCenter are expected to provide PZU with required functionality and business agility.

The company uses the solutions to enhance its response capability to the market changes with increased self-sufficiency as well as its ability to make system changes and upgrades.

PZU SA, chief executive officer Andrzej Klesyk said, "The new IT system will make it possible to implement a multichannel, integrated sales and customer service model aimed at achieving full process automation."

The flexible underwriting and policy administration system, Guidewire PolicyCenter can support both commercial and personal lines and will also assit insurers to grow business profitably with efficiency.

The billing and receivables management system, Guidewire BillingCenter will automate the billing lifecycle, design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans, manage agent commissions and enable rapid integration with external payment systems.
