Pavilion Insurance has entered into a three-year agreement with the British Cycling Federation to provide a range of cycling insurance services for its members based on Pavilion's ISIS software.

The product will be marketed under the BC Insurance banner, and will be delivered via a new dedicated website and Pavilion’s call center facilities.

Following the announcement of a similar initiative with ATB Sales in January whereby an electronic quote and delivery system was set up in tandem with ATB’s warranty registration and after sales service, Pavilion has been exploring the use of its own software, ISIS, with other partners across their product range.

Sarah Gow, executive director of sales and customer service at Pavilion, said:

We will be using a similar technology in our partnership, linking to leisure cyclists in which the British Cycling Federation (BCF) have started a new membership drive. In addition to new membership we are already targeting the existing 20,000 members of BCF through this association who are interested in competition cover.

Pavilion has reported significant growth in its range of Cycleguard insurance products, with cycle insurance sales 110% ahead of 2005 in the first quarter of the year.
