US-based Patriot National has expanded partnership with carrier Falls Lake National Insurance Company, a subsidiary of James River Group Holdings.
Previously known as Stonewood National Insurance Company, Falls Lake provides underwriting specialty products with limited distribution sources in targeted industries.
Patriot National CEO Steven Mariano said: "Patriot National’s growth model calls for securing and growing strategic alliances with carrier partners that share our dedication to providing superior insurance products and industry-leading customer service.
"Underwriting and handling outsourcing services for the healthcare industry is one of our key verticals and adds significant value to our new expanded program arrangements with Falls Lake."
Under the original partnership agreement that was established in February 2014, Patriot writes workers’ compensation insurance for Falls Lake, in addition to serving as program administrator with defined underwriting and claims settlement authority for healthcare accounts in Midwestern states.
As part of the new expanded partnership, Patriot will provide services to Falls Lake, including general agency services, underwriting and claim cost containment and related services.
The areas covered under the new deal include Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
