To integrate with existing AcroSoft document management and work-flow applications for insurance

Partners Mutual Insurance, a property and casualty insurance company, has purchased the Interactive Intelligence all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center (CIC).

The company said that it selected Interactive Intelligence based on its insurance expertise and CIC’s feature-set and cost-effectiveness.

Interactive Intelligence reseller, Attalus Communications, is assisting Partners Mutual with its CIC deployment and integration to its AcroSoft content management applications.

Once fully deployed, CIC will give Partners Mutual SIP-based IP PBX switching capabilities and applications for presence management, multichannel routing and queuing, interactive voice response, auto-attendant, unified messaging, call recording, and conferencing. Partners Mutual expects to complete deployment by December 31, 2009.

Richard Ewert, president and CEO of Partners Mutual, said: “We were introduced to CIC after Interactive Intelligence acquired content management company AcroSoft, whose insurance solutions we had been using since 2005. We liked the idea of being able to leverage both contact center automation and enterprise IP telephony features that would also easily integrate with our existing AcroSoft document management and work-flow applications for insurance.”
