St Helens RFC (Saints) has appointed Oval as its sole insurance and risk management provider for its new stadium at Langtree Park.
Oval North West Broking and Markets director Steve Critchlow was quoted by Insurance Age as saying that the company was delighted to have been given responsibility for safeguarding Saints’ newest asset.
"The risk implications for a business like Saints are quite unique in comparison with other commercial insurance programmes," Critchlow said.
"Yet, through our service led approach, we were able to identify these requirements and be in a position to offer effective solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of the club."
St Helens RFC sales and marketing head Steve Davis said the company was looking forward to developing a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Oval.
