OneShield, a provider of software solutions for insurance industry, has established a new Global Strategy division and recently hired Liza Smith has been appointed as general manager to lead the division.
Smith will be responsible for the development and deployment of OneShield’s dragon product suite in all markets outside the US.
OneShield Dragon is a tools-based, data-driven insurance underwriting, policy administration, billing, business intelligence, rating and workflow engine.
She will join OneShield from EMC Document Sciences, where she was vice president and global head of insurance.
OneShield EVP of client services and delivery Heather Peacock said the company has proven successes in the US and Canada, and Liza’s extensive experience leading market and product entry in Europe, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region will ensure future growth in the international general insurance market.
OneShield president and CEO Glenn Anschutz said with the addition of Liza to the team, OneShield is extremely well-positioned to expand the company’s reputation as a leading service provider to the global insurance market.
