National Financial Partners, a network of independent financial advisors, has announced that Daniel Young has been appointed president and COO of NFP Securities, NFP's broker-dealer.

Mr Young, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of NFP Securities (NFPSI), relationships with National Financial Partners (NFP) owned and member firm producers, as well as the marketing activities and operations of NFPSI. He will report to Jeff Montgomery, CEO of NFPSI and executive vice president and COO of NFP Insurance Services.

Before joining NFPSI, Mr Young was president and CEO of NYLIFE Securities, New York Life’s broker-dealer subsidiary, and Eagle Strategies, A graduate of the University of Chicago School of Law, Mr Young holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Stanford University.
