AARP Services, a US-based non-governmental organization, has extended its contract with New York Life Insurance Company to serve as the exclusive provider of life insurance products to its 37 million members until 2022.

More than two million AARP members are currently enrolled with New York Life.

New York Life – Direct senior vice president Don Salama said that the company will continue to offer life insurance products with competitive rates and special product features – such as guaranteed issue – tailored to meet the needs of AARP members.

"With our experience providing life insurance to AARP members for nearly two decades, and award winning customer service, we are extremely well-positioned to take the program to an even higher level to benefit AARP members," Salama added.

AARP Services senior vice president of financial products and services Mitch Stevens said that for 19 years, New York Life has provided access to a wide range of affordable products and services for consumers over 50 years old.

New York Life Insurance also provides lifetime income annuities to AARP members under a contract signed in 2006.
