Navigators Management Company (NMC), the underwriting agency subsidiary of The Navigators Group, has appointed Henry Lopez as regional vice president-central region, Mark Richards as president of the primary casualty division and Lisa Uzzo as president of the inland marine division.
Lopez will lead the management of all insurance products distributed in NMC’s central region, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Prior to Navigators, Lopez was regional president for the Midwest region at Markel Corporation.
Similarly Richards will lead the primary casualty division of NMC, which is a provider of high quality general liability and environmental liability coverage for contractors, product manufacturers, distributors, industrial, commercial and real estate risks.
Prior to joining Navigators, Richards was senior vice president at Colony Insurance, a division of the Argo Group.
And Uzzo will lead NMC’s inland marine division, which offers inland marine products, including commercial output policy for manufacturers, warehousing specialists and contractors; builders risk for the construction industry; specialty coverages, including for cash in transit and fine arts; and coverage for motor truck cargo and logistics.
Uzzo was previously senior vice president of Navigators’ Inland Marine division since 2006.
