Minnesota Life has announced that it will provide more than $14 billion of life insurance coverage for nearly 160,000 employees and retirees of the State of Florida.
Florida is the 11th state to select Minnesota Life to provide this important benefit to its employees. Minnesota Life is opening an office in Tallahassee at 1909 Hillbrooke Trail to provide local service.
Paul Romuald, who will manage the Tallahassee office, said that personnel at Florida’s Department of Management Services are impressed with the online services Minnesota Life will offer to state employees and human resources staff. Covered employees also will have access to will preparation services and financial counseling for their beneficiaries.
