Minnesota Life Insurance Company's group life division has opened a second sales and service office in Fort Myers, Florida.

The company said that new sales and service office in Fort Myers along with the office in Tallahassee will provide account management services and support sales efforts in the region.

Minnesota Life provides group life insurance to fortune 1000 employers and large public employee groups. In Florida, public sector clients include state of Florida, Lee County Government, The City of Fort Myers, Alachua County, Palm Beach County, Valencia Community College, City of Miami, and Pasco County.

Minnesota Life said that it has recently launched a web site, www.expectgreatservice.com, where people are invited to share their experiences with efficient customer service in any industry.

Brent Lesmeister, sales manager of southern region at Minnesota Life, said: “With the Tallahassee office in the Panhandle and the Fort Myers office in the south, we have plenty of people on the ground to provide the service our current and future clients in Florida deserve and expect.”

Minnesota Life’s group insurance unit provides products and services for employers with 1,000 or more employees.
