iPipeline, a provider of suite of sales distribution software, has said that Minnesota Life, a Securian Financial Group affiliate, has expanded the number of insurance products being made available with iGO e-App.

Minnesota Life’s producers use iGO e-App for Advantage Term Elite, Eclipse Indexed Life, Eclipse Protector Indexed Life, and Secure Whole life products in all states except New York and Montana.

To speed activities, data from the iGO e-App is automatically integrated into back-end systems that electronically order underwriting requirements to support their straight-through processing (STP) initiative.

Ipipeline president Bill Butler said Minnesota Life is an innovator in the use of STP and a proactive player in iPipeline’s ‘insurance cloud’. With the goal of reducing human error and accelerating underwriting activities, they have elected to feed data from iGO e-App directly into their systems.

"Their unique approach to STP is designed to increase speed to market, simplify the ordering of underwriting requirements, and make their products even more attractive to producers. This all drives placement ratio lift," Butler said.

iPipeline’s SaaS-based offering of integrated CRM, Forms, Quotes & Illustrations, iGO e-App, Data Services, AMS, e-Policy and Policy Services is said to be redefining STP for the entire industry.
