Commercial insurance provider MiddleOak has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration solution.
Initially, the insurance provider will use PolicyCenter for its Specialty Habitational and associated Umbrella lines of business.
By using the solution, MiddleOak will independently make system changes to bring new products to market and increase the ease of doing business for agents.
With the help of solution, MiddleOak will improve operational efficiency through proactive workload management and the automation of formerly manual tasks and improve data analytics as well as real-time reporting capabilities.
MiddleOak senior vice president of distributed technology Anne Tarryk said that Guidewire PolicyCenter’s out-of-the-box functionality and workflows will empower the company’s users and the system’s flexible design will allow it to become self-sufficient.
"This self sufficiency will enable MiddleOak to develop products and capabilities internally rather than relying on vendor support," Tarryk said.
