Camilion Solutions, a provider of insurance product development solutions, said that Mid-Continent Group, a member of American Financial Group, has selected Camilion Authority Suite as their policy administration system.
Camilion said that the authority suite will support Mid-Continent’s commercial lines in all 50 states, provides same day policy issuance and helps reduce policy administration and product development costs by 25% while also enabling the development of new products in less time.
Leveraging a service-oriented architecture and built on the tools and rules-based technology platform, the authority suite supports the policy lifecycle including application data capture, qualification, rating, quote management, bind, issuance, all the policy endorsement functionality and integration to other enterprise systems, the company said.
According to Camilion, the new suite, which features a consolidated underwriting workstation and straight through processing, is powered by Camilion ProductAuthority, a product development and management solution that creates agility by externalising all product data and rules from multiple, hard-coded operational systems into a central product repository.
