Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC), the primary subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corporation, is offering mortgage insurance through Ellie Mae's Encompass360 mortgage management software.
The new integration is expected to enable the users to directly order MGIC rate quotes and mortgage insurance without having to leave the platform.
The PDFs for rate quotes and commitments are automatically returned by the MISMO-based integration, which also populates the appropriate mortgage insurance premium fields in Encompass360, to help clients save data entry time and increase accuracy.
MGIC Marketing vice president Sal Miosi said the partnership demonstrates the company’s continued dedication to automating access to its mortgage insurance services.
"Automated access to MGIC mortgage insurance enables customers to further streamline their loan origination processes," Miosi added.
MGIC serves lenders across the US, Puerto Rico, and other locations, helping families with low-down-payment mortgages for homeowners.
