A monthly income plan with tax incentives
MetLife India Insurance, a private sector life insurance company, has launched the Met Monthly Income Plan that offers a monthly income with other benefits like tax incentives and bonuses, reported The Economic Times.
MetLife stated that the scheme includes benefits such as potential upsides in the form of bonuses along with guaranteed regular income for a long term. It also ensures continuous regular income for the family in case of death of the insured, provides tax benefits, and also allows for a shorter premium payment term.
Rajesh Relan, managing director of MetLife emphasised the need for a product which provides guaranteed high regular income for a longer term, given the uncertainties caused by the volatile economic conditions, .
Mr. Relan said: Launching Met Monthly Income plan is a natural progression in our journey to offer the consumer a complete range of plans to suit their various needs.
